As a result, media coverage of Bob’s Big Boy’s solar installation was amplified across channels from strategic co-marketing and public relations.

In 2009, Bob’s Big Boy, a California historic landmark building where diners have enjoyed hamburgers since 1949, celebrated sixty years in business by installing a commercial solar project on location in Burbank.

As part of a multi-pronged marketing and public relations strategy, TerraCurrent CEO Glenna Wiseman developed a brand story to communicate Big Boy’s solar installation to the community. This included: building multiple sponsorship and integrated marketing opportunities with companies involved in the installation and within the community; engaging the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included Bill Nye the Science Guy; and coordinated content across print and digital channels.
